Julie
is our office manager. She has been with Sebasticook Dental since its inception back in 2006. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in Business Management and is a licensed dental radiographer. She really enjoys all aspects of her job and enjoys being able to travel to other countries to help individuals who have very little access to dental care. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with family, friends and special time with her grandchildren in Maine and in Montana. She also loves spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking and leisure time in her hammock.
Nilah
has been a part of our team since May of 2020 as a receptionist/Ipad navigator. She is the face that is most often seen at the front and is always willing to help patients with a smile on her face. Nilah has switched her position from full time to part time as she is currently a full time student at Husson University enrolled in the Pre-Law program. She has her student pilot license and is working towards getting her private pilot certification. Her hobbies include photography, drawing, playing piano, muay thai and of course flying. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog and traveling to new destinations.
Kim
is one of our part-time dental hygienists and has had her license since 1998. She received her degree from University College in Bangor, Maine. She has been working with Sebasticook Dental since 2007. She started her journey in dental hygiene because she always found it rewarding to help people. She helped her mother run a residential facility from 1991 until it closed in 2021. She also works for a home healthcare agency as a PSS. Her third job is working as an independent Seint artist sharing her love for creme makeup. When she isn’t working she spends time with her husband, 3 daughters, her first granddaughter and her dogs. She loves cooking, shopping and spending time with her mom. She loves to help anyone in need, whether it’s a hand to walk down the hall or helping someone put their groceries up on the belt.
Katie
has worked at Sebasticook Dental Center as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2016. She attended the University of Maine Augusta for four years where she received her degree. She has been working as a hygienist since 2014 and loves working at a family-oriented practice where she can care for, encourage, and get to know her patients. When not at work her hobbies are hunting, fishing and crafting. At home she lives with her husband and four kids, dogs, chickens, ducks, pigs, rabbits, and goats. She enjoys being outside with her family and believes you should learn something new every day!
Paige
is our steri-tech and is the employee that has many tasks behind the scenes and keeps all other employees prepared for their patient’s dental experience. She has been with Sebasticook Dental Center since August of 2023. Paige is in the process of obtaining her radiology license so that she can contribute more. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors with her dog. Along with spending quality time with family and friends.
Philip
is a New York city native and has relocated to the state of Maine by way of Maryland in 2017. He attended New York City Technical College in 1997 and has served as S.A.D.H.A. Vice President during his Senior year. Philip has completed over 500 course hours in a wide range of topics and maintains his Maryland and now Maine licenses. His mission in hygiene is to provide the highest-quality oral care possible to each patient by always putting the patient’s needs first and treating the patient with the dignity they deserve. He is a strong advocate for oral health care awareness and nutrition. He will continue to educate patients on the importance of practicing and maintaining good oral health habits. He truly believes that the earlier we can teach them how to do better we will make better strides at improving the oral health of our clients here in central Maine!
Lexy
is our receptionist and is the smiling face that greets you at the front desk. She has been with Sebasticook Dental Center since September of 2023. She has her early childhood certificate and is eager to learn all about dentistry. She truly enjoys helping people and being able to make a difference with their smiles. In her free time you can find Lexy outdoors with her dog and spending time with her family and friends.
Danyel
is a dental assistant/phlebotomist and has been with our office since June of 2021. She became a certified phlebotomist in 2010 from NTI and finished an online accredited dental assistants course online. She loves helping people with their smiles. When not at work she loves spending time with family and her Fur babies. She loves hiking, swimming, boating and kayaking. Most of all she loves making a difference.
Arielle
has worked at Sebasticook Dental Center since October of 2021 as a certified dental assistant. She received her associates degree from University of Maine at Augusta in 2014 and has worked in all aspects of dentistry since. She enjoys helping patients transform their smiles and seeing them happy and excited about their treatment. When she isn’t working, she enjoys camping, escape rooms and venturing to new places with her son and husband.
